Morowali, Indonesia is going through major flood issues. Besides cocoa the floodwaters also inundated 526 hectares of rice paddies, 161 hectares of fish farms and 163 hectares of farmland. Some 4,682 people from 1,313 families were evacuated.
Candy store owners and managers are noticing a big increase in sales. As unemployment has risen Americans, particularly adults, have been consuming growing volumes of candy. Mostly the cheaper candies but the higher quality candies as well.
